HOLIDAY SHIPPING DEADLINES:

Due to high volume and delays across ALL postal carriers, we unfortunately cannot guarantee delivery by Dec 25th. That said, we ofter these dates as a guide to increasing the probability that your order is delivered by December 25:

Economy (USPS Media Mail): Dec 6th, 2022

Standard (USPS Priority Mail): Dec 10th, 2022

 

Reparations Club is an independently Black-owned and operated business. Our small team is works tirelessly to make sure you have the best customer experience possible, both online and IRL—our loyal customers and their 5-star reviews (except for this one guy...) can attest to that! That said, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. If you have any issues at all, just let us know and we will do our best to make it right.

Common issues facing small businesses in the age of COVID-19:

 

Shipping Delays:
While we've noticed things getting better (or maybe we're being optimistic), USPS is still experiencing delays with scanning and delivering some packages. Priority Mail is insured by default, and the surest way to receive your packages on-time.
Media Mail shipments are the most delayed, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee shipping times for economy shipments. These are shipping estimates based on recent delays:

  • Processing time: 1-3 business days
  • (Priority) USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 business days
  • (Economy) USPS Media Mail: (West Coast) 2-5 business days (avg. 3 days)
  • (Economy) USPS Media Mail: (Rest of US) 3-10 business days (avg. 5 days)

 

If you do not receive your order within these time frames, or if you believe your package is lost in the ether, please contact us or your local post office to file a missing mail search.
Please note that while you will receive tracking numbers, Media Mail shipments are uninsured; once the item has been marked as DELIVERED by USPS, we can not guarantee any responsibility for any lost or stolen packages (we would have no recourse to recoup the loss of inventory and replacement shipping charges), but we will do whatever we can to help. Only expedited and Priority Mail shipments may be insured by USPS.

Do you ship orders outside of Los Angeles?

Yes! We ship anywhere in the U.S.! If you're outside of the U.S., get in touch for a shipping quote! Unfortunately, we haven't had the bandwidth for International orders at this time, but we are working on it!

 

How much does shipping cost? 

Shipping shipping fees are calculated at checkout, based on weight and destination. Most books ship at a flat rate of $3.89 via USPS Media Mail.

 

When will I receive my order?

Shipping times depend on your location and shipping method. Orders are processed Tuesday through Friday, typically within 1-3 business days, and current COVID-19 shipping estimates are as follows:

  • Processing time: 1-3 business days
  • (Priority) USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 business days
  • (Economy) USPS Media Mail: (West Coast) 2-5 business days (avg. 3 days)
  • (Economy) USPS Media Mail: (Rest of US) 3-10 business days (avg. 5 days)

All orders will receive shipping confirmation and tracking numbers with up-to-date delivery info.

If your item(s) are in our immediate stock, we occasionally deliver items locally within 2-4 business days.

 

Where is my Pre-Order/Back-Order?

Back-order and/or Pre-Order titles will ship upon release or re-stock date noted on their respective product page/title, if not sooner. Note: Any additional titles in your order will ship in accordance with that date, not separately unless requested and separate shipping ($3.89 per shipment) is paid. If you'd like your in-stock titles sooner, please place a separate order. Thanks y'all! 

All pre-orders are shipped by their release dates. Release dates are subject to change by the publisher. If you have any questions, hit us up.

 

Can I pick-up my order in person?

Of course! Please select 'Local Pickup' as your shipping method at checkout.

 

I'm looking for an item I saw in-store that's not listed on your website.

Shoot us an email! We have a limited selection of our inventory available online. If you're looking for something specific, we'd be more than happy to ship it to you!

 

Can I order or pre-order a book that's not on your website?

Yes! Email us the name and author or ISBN of just about any title you're looking for and we can usually get it for you! 

 

Does Rep Club sell audio books?

Yes! We have partnered with Libro.fm & Bookshop.org for all audio books sales. We receive a commission on any purchase or subscription made through our partners that continues to support our business!

 

I'm looking for large print titles—can I order through you?

Heck yeah! If a large print edition is available from the publisher, we'd be more than happy to order for you! Just email or call!

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returns

Our return policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery, as noted by the carrier. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unread, and in the same condition that you received it. Non-book items must also be in the original packaging.

Items purchased at a discount and/or marked final sale are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns on jewelry or any items that are intimate in nature (like underwear, swimwear, or personal care). Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, is not eligible for return or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and returns are shipped at your expense to our store location in Los Angeles, CA. You should use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and accept no responsibility for lost packages.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-7 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@reparations.club and send your item to: 3054 S Victoria Ave., Los Angeles CA 90016, United States.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they can find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
