Ruby René Quiet on Valentine's Day

The third book in the Ruby René series celebrates love, explores feelings and encourages young children to speak from their hearts.

Ruby René has always had so much to say… but after receiving a Valentine's Day poetry assignment, she's surprisingly quiet. She could tell you facts about poetry all day, like the titles of works by Langston Hughes or Phyllis Wheatley. Yet when it comes to writing down what she feels, she's stumped. 

It's not until Ruby goes camping with her Girl Scout Troop and she meets a new friend that she knows exactly what she wants to write about: her love for nature, and her love for her mom.
