Veronica Miller Jamison is the illustrator of several acclaimed books including Up Periscope!: How Engineer Raye Montague Revolutionized Shipbuilding by Jennifer Swanson, A Computer Called Katherine: How Katherine Johnson Helped Put America on the Moon by Suzanne Slade, and This Is a School by John Schu. Veronica grew up immersed in the stories of her family’s history in the South and the Caribbean. She spent nearly a decade in broadcast news before embarking on a career in illustration and fashion, and she works as a print designer for Lilly Pulitzer.
